My son inherited some mechanical talent, but definitely not from me. He installed all those aftermarket parts himself and the only trouble he had was he made the fit of the DVD player against the ceiling fabric so tight that the DVDs wouldn't eject from the DVD player. Me, I'm too objective oriented. I want it completely done and I don't enjoy the process of getting it that way. That's a propensity that doesn't make for being a good mechanic. Good luck with your Scout. I drove one back in the 60s on the job but have never had one.
