One thing that came out of my post #3283 was that it galvanized quite a few into action and resulted in several expressed opinions ... opinions that may have been simmering under the surface !! {:-)

Anyway, .... as has often been the case, The Ox and Sergio H, amongst others, have, IMO, put forward several sensible suggestions. I’m sure they can be combined in how we proceed from here ....

Sergio H suggests we take a vote on (a) keeping the portfolio intact, (b) drop one stock, (c) drop two stocks.

I’ll post the necessary posts to incorporate that voting requirement with the deadline being the NYSE closing time on Friday 23rd. August ‘13.

With regard to The Ox’s suggestion of keeping track of original and new portfolio versions, I will do the following ....

When a stock is removed from the portfolio I will copy and paste the old portfolio below the new revised one so that we can see how things are going between “old and new”.
