A few things here..... First....I''m sure J.Saf meant to say Fingerscan, not Fingermatrix as the company bought by IDX last year.....IDX is not considering the purchase of Fingermatrix.

Second, IDX does very little manufacturing....The subsystems for their products are produced by high-volume subcontractors.....Final testing and quality control is done in Sunnyvale. Should IDX get much greater than expected orders.....They just pick up the phone.... Last spring they more than doubled their space......but they were only using a fraction of the space they already had....In a conference call, Randy Fowler (CEO) said it was because of what they saw coming. IDX also uses Just In Time inventory techniques......so huge cash outlays will not be needed.

Third.....IDX would have been profitable last year if they had not made two purchases.....Fingerscan is a Time and attendance/Banking concern.....Fingerscan is marketed in 30 countries by The Fujitsu family of companies. Fingerprint Services Division does contract fingerprinting.....You know, millions of people need to be fingerprinted each year for job qualification. When asked what areas of authentication will grow the fastest.....Randy said T and A ....and Contract Fingerprinting.

Many, Many times on this thread, I have described 6 different areas of authentication.....All 6 areas will grow. IDX has a business plan for each, and is positioned much better than any other authentication company.

IDX has no real Wall Street coverage except for Jeff Kessler.....Jeff''s estimates have never included Oracle or large contracts.....

If the first order from Oracle is over $5 million.......IDX will double.

Should the National Police of Japan award the contract to any of the companies who use IDX products, IDX will double again.

Should Sears and Roebuck decide to install Fingerscan T/A machines, (because they can save $6,000 per store per year), IDX will double again.....

Folks are not aware of what''s happening here. You have several markets ready to explode.....No other company in the business is positioned like IDX......These are very smart folks.

There is no Hype here.....This is right in front of our noses. I love stocks like this.....It could come from any place at any time...BOOM! It may come in Las Vegas when MasterCard speaks of the future. I hope someone from this thread or AOL can report.....Listen for the word....Verifone...
