I have nothing to hide, Ray; it's more a matter of privacy. Inherent in our Constitution is an individual's right to privacy. If "the system" provides an option for the ability to protect my privacy, I will take an advantage of that option -- & if absolutely necessary or cost effective, pay for it.

What does anonymity buy you? Just curious.

By maintaining some level of anonymity, Ray, I think one will be able to limit to some degree unsolicited e-mail -- for beginners.

Bottom line, Ray, I don't understand the point of your post? My personal preferences are not of interest to this thread, though I appreciate your interest.
