I saw that and agree that it is a great move. However, I still think the powers that be miss the key point. Very few are going to commit to service if there is a chance that the company will not survive. Personally, I believe the company will survive and that PA's reputation is key there. When the market gets hot, his track record will be reviewed every time he looks to the street for $$$$.

Even if the company does survive, there is a perception that it won't. That's enough to scare away users, suppliers, service providers and potential partners.

Message: The game has gone on long enough. Put the financing deal through before you totally miss the critical mass. MCOM still has a leg up on other technologies and reviews have been stellar. Don't lose that advantage by further delays.

The other possibility I see, which has not been discussed, is of PA taking it private at say 7.50-12. This would generally make the few public shareholders happier (if not happy) and basically would be taking the pressure off public perception. He would be free to do some more flexible deals to finance the future of MCOM without the travail of a public market. Of course, buying low is always good. An interesting side show might develop if any such offer were timed to screw some of our favorite call writers.
