I would advise against using Apple as an analogy (they are on the ropes, and may not be able to stave off a knockout blow), just as I advised a previous gentleman not to use a cable vs. dish TV analogy (cable is getting kicked by direct TV) if he wished to best make a bullish case. I don't think any AOL bull wants to see the company go the way of Apple or cable TV. On the other hand, the bears see it as inevitable.
