Maybe they thought she was smuggling wmd's or something ... she had an Arab boyfriend, after all. Seriously, I was surprised there was so little outrage about it in that story ... And the more I think of it, there is something a bit weird in all this ... the driver was working for the French secret service, while yours was bugging the phones ... driver's almost certainly a professional, but he's partying like a frat boy, 3 times over the legal limit ... his blood sample goes missing ... a car hits them just before, but is never found ... Got Russian connection? <g>
