The way you answered that question was interesting.

I would start with wiping al quada off the face of the earth, helping the mideast toward peace, economic progress and political progress starting in iraq.

A loss would be falling asleep at the wheel in ths fight against terror--being lulled to sleep so to speak. Another loss would be to allow our fp to be designed by the UN and the europeans or as kerry once said he would give them the right of first refusal.


Did you notice that you defined victory in terms of results (terminal), at least an inference of results, and that you defined failure in terms of methods (instrumental)? To be parallel, you would have at least need to address both the same way although measures are preferably defined in terms of results, not methods.
