Uh....maybe you misread my analogy there...I was using Apple only in the context of an easy-to-use more expensive product which inspires consumer loyalty. As far as how they handled the business model....well, that is another story (hence the "How else do these guys stay in business" crack.) So, Just to be clear, I was using Apple to illustrate a single point and aspect of that company not a blanket comparison between the two companies (AOL and Apple) as you have perceived it. I find it difficult to compare AOL to any company simply because no other company has been in this field for vey long, also comparisons other than on a very focused basis would be the proverbial apple and oranges. :-)

Hope you didn't focus on an analogy while missing the rest of the message.
