I think they make 11-14 dollars an hour now.

On a local radio talk show here in Phoenix a UPS driver supporting the strike called in and discussed it with the host. When asked what would happen if he lost his job he said "I could go find another $50,000 per year job tomorrow."

Why should someone make $50,000 per year to drive a truck and carry packages? Do you think this person has a realistic view of what a $50,000 per year job is?

Just because you can spend everything someone pays you isn't any reason to expect them to pay you a dime more.
