Las Vegas Company Places Its Bets On WaveRider's LMS2000

RCR & Associates to deploy LMS 2000 in Southern Nevada,
Northwest Arizona
WaveRider Communications Inc. (NASDAQ:WAVC - news) a leading global provider of wireless Internet access products, today announced it has finalized an agreement with wireless networking provider RCR & Associates of Las Vegas, Nevada for its LMS2000 wireless Internet access product.
The first LMS2000 installation for RCR & Associates will take place in the Colorado River Valley area covering Laughlin, NV and Bullhead City, AZ. RCR & Associates will roll out the LMS2000 system in the Las Vegas, NV area in the fall of 2000. The initial installation will include a Network Access Point (NAP), Communications Access Point (CAP) and End User Modems.

General Dynamics Worldwide Telecommunication Systems (Needham, Mass.; www.gd-wts.com) will assist with the initial LMS2000 installation. On June 7, WaveRider announced its agreement with General Dynamics to provide engineering design and installation services to its LMS customers around the world. The overall management of the RCR & Associates' project will be directed by WaveRider's Chicago office.
