A tough one to call...

QCOM could have cut R&D and marketing and reported spledid earnings, but I think you're correct when you say the company should be spending the money to expand and do R&D.

A really good clue to all this is if insiders are holding or buying stock. If they are buying so am I. If they are selling then we should all head for the exits.

QCOM is a long range play.
