HUNTSVILLE, Ala., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Rymic Systems, an industry leader in the fast growing remote asset management market, today announced that Avocent Corporation (Nasdaq: AVCT), has signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement and has purchased a substantial minority equity position in the company. The new Strategic Agreement establishes the sharing of technology and other expertise, as well as authorizes Avocent to sell Rymic's line of rymicNET(TM) remote monitoring and control products in the computer, server and data center management markets.
