Apple had it's strenght when it was the innovater in the marketplace. In the workstation market it has lost its advantage of being the "user friendly platform sold to arist and computer phobes. If apple is going to survive it will not be through yet another platform that makes all of its previous coustomers unhappy and upgradeable. Apple must push into the wireless arena. Apple needs a new area of mastery, a new niche. Price wise apple is accross the board higher. Until I see apple introduce a newton style platform with biometrics, GPS, CD, and Cell phone my money is in my pocket. Sure, we will see a little pop when the new products arrive. But Guys it won't matter how hard we fan this thread. This Company is not set up for a long term hold. I'm in on GVIL and I want to see apple do well. However, truth is truth...
