VALUATION OF COPYRIGHTS
Akron, OH, August 28, 1996 - Interactive MultiMedia Publishers issued an announcement today, that the value of certain copyrights written by Dr. P. Joseph Vertucci, President and Chief Executive Officer of the company, have been revised downward to $7,000,000. This announcement has been precipitated by a errorous report issued by the Bullish Investors for June 1, 1996. In this report, the company's copyrights have been quoted at a value of $82,000,000. The company has inadvertently compounded the problem by calling attention to the Bullish Investors Report on its web site. The Company expressly disavows the figures reported by the Bullish Investors on June 1, 1996, and deplores the act of its own management which endorsed this report by calling attention to it on its web site.
The Company has further resolved to amend an earlier Securities and Exchange Commission filing which attached a value of $37,000,000 to those copyrights. The Company also expresses its sincere regret over this incident and resolves that this sort of dissemination of inaccurate information will never happen again.
