I was just telling Unclewest that we are way ahead of the curve on Rambus because if you call up any of the retailers, such as Radio Shack, Gateway Country stores, CompUSA, Circuit City, Best Buy, etc., the sales people will tell you they have NEVER EVEN HEARD OF RAMBUS, muchless have any machines with it. I think that all the "BIG BOYS" could ship you a machine today with Rambus in it, but they are trying to move all of their "OLD" inventory into the Christmas buying frenzy, as any machines left after the introduction of Rambus systems, will be obsolete and worth 10 cents on the dollar. That is why there is no availability of Rambus machines yet, and until there are machines "in the stores" and "on the desktops", the price of Rambus will languish.
