I think your interpretation of Bob's comments is in error. I don't think we can list all past (relative to now) aliases. There's some loose linkage in one of the Oracle [PeopleSearch] indexes, but it's not an exact science and is definitely not all inclusive. There's also an entry in the admin notes, but that's not available to the members.

If we are going to allow widespread alias changes in the new UI, it seems entirely reasonable that there be some alias history provided from the next change forward. Perhaps there could be a provision to remove the alias change history record in certain cases... particularly where a real name was used.

Also, one always has the option of starting a new account if they want to completely break ties with past posting activities and/or identification....
