What's irrelevant, Tim? That Israel has violated Lebanon's sovereignty on any number of occasions.

If you can't or won't control your own territory and its used by other powers as a base to wage war, you lose your sovereignty doesn't and shouldn't make your country immune to the counterattack. The real violator of Lebanese sovereignty in this case was the PLO.


Two things: Mexico can't control the number of illegals passing through its country and coming to the US. Should we invade Mexico?

Secondly, after 20+ years in Lebanon, Israel could no more control the PLO than the Lebanese. Worse......its presense in Lebanon encouraged the creation of Hezbollah. When do you think Israel will figure out its tactics are not working.
