David: If the Mongolian Vultures do circle and wipe out the Western wagon train, then - as Dave has implied - Mongolia will be closing its borders to foreign investment for years to come. MGR took risks in setting up a mill in Mongolia - $10M of risks according to estimates I've seen on this newsgroup. If the Mongolian Government is seen to be playing games with MGR, what Western resource company will want to do any type of business in Mongolia in future. No point even drilling there if the rules aren't clear and fixed for the long-term on who gets what after drill results. I can't believe that Mongolian Gov't officials believe in wearing six-guns for blasting away at their left feet. I guess MGR and all its investors are in the middle of a great world social experiment. MGR's fate will determine Mongolia's future.
