Well let's hope and pray they don't go really bad and turn into another Canhadastan. It they go that far, the government will never have enuff to even repair their gilded palaces of corruption.

The Chileans and (so far) the Peruvians do it right. In order to attract and keep foreign money and expertise they have kept their corporate tax rate at 25%. They do just fine at those rates.

There are more miners in Peru working than there are people driving Fords in Canuckistania. There are more mines in one province of Chile than there ever have been in this sorry little communist enclave's history. I mean the Great White North, not the Big Red Deserted Gobi.
