Again you are viewing the facts with an incorrect bias.

The ES 3810 is an Ethernet switch. Although I did not read it, I believe the "report card" was looking at backbone ATM switches.

So the positive indication is that FORE is not restricting itself exclusively to ATM and can come up with a half decent Ethernet switch. The negative, they are not necessarily the best ATM solution.

I wouldn't throw my whole nut into FORE just yet. 15 to 12 is still a 20% loss, and far from out of the question
