I assume your clients all want in and you are seeing high demand?>> i'm a partner in a small money mgmt firm. actually, my clients don't typically call me and ask me to buy something for their portfolios. i manage their accounts with my own discretion (there are some exceptions, as some certainly desire to have a more "hands-on" approach...they typically are more fun as clients). anyway, as far as the "who the hell do you believe" part.... as to whether it's fairly priced, you'll find responses across the spectrum. do the research and you can decide "who to believe". if it's priced in the middle of the range (as i mentioned in yesterday's email), it will sell at an 11% discount to EBITDA of the group. it's a leader in the group. there will be so many mutual funds trying to pick it up, it's going to get swallowed quickly...as for price support, the underwriters will support as much as necessary, but the bottom line is the mutual funds will be picking it up.
