There doesn't have to be serious wrongdoing to get people in trouble. There could be minor wrongdoing. Or the innaccurate perception of wrongdoing. If Gonzales is lying he could be lying to avoid that trouble. (Although if he's lying, and its for that reason, he might be bringing it on himself more than he's helping himself)

Gonzales lied about his involvement in the firing of USAs. Do you condone such behavior? Yes or no?
