Obama can run again in 2016 when US voters might be ready for an "exotic" president. He'll gain needed experience in the meantime. For 2008 voters prefer someone who can relate to their lives to some extent. As the primary demonstrated, Obama has almost nothing in common with them...McCain's not perfect but he does share basic values and an historical perspective with the majority of today's electorate. >That stuff is nothing. Obama is a patriot. And quite self actualized. So his life is complex, which is good. He will not make so many mistakes because he can see many sides of an issue.
