IMO, CLST downturn is twofold: diluted earnings for quarter and year, and because its growth prospects for 1998 are not as promising as that of 1997. Brightpoint, on the other hand, is just the opposite story: CELL's market share is growing significantly and has very strong evidence of continued growth in 98 and 99, while CLST's market share is shrinking. CLST's woes are isolated to CLST's growth prospects (losing market share to CELL in growth markets), and its accounting practices (unexplained diluted earnings).
