VG: The NC might be able to do 'Officing' kind of apps as well, (Officing: spread sheets, word processing, presentation, ...) If 1: average internet bandwidth increases substantially, via cable modems or ADS stuff 2. Java and all the java related stuff gets more industrial strength. For a hint of what this might look like go to the corel website : corel.com and check out their demos of their java office suite. Its not excel, but it offers a lot of promise. -r
