What is faith? I'll tell you what it is not, a blind trust in something that we neither see nor feel. No, faith is so much more. When someone says I have faith in you they are saying they trust that person. Jesus calls us to faith. This is not the type of faith we have been fooled into believing requires us to leave our mind at the door. Far from it. Instead, the faith Jesus calls us to is the faith we have in anyone who has proven themselves worthy. True Christian faith is when we put our hope and trust in the one who has shown himself faithful. This is not a blind faith in words from some book that lacks any power but in the Living Word of God. That is the faith Jesus has called us to. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
