Scott, He has a great record with FedEx before coming to Netscape, and though not a tech company, he was involved in high tech solutions. Current FedEx employees that were around when Barksdale was Sr. VP, say that he was a great people motivator and ran a tight ship. Many say that FedEx has gone to Hell since he left. He's also on record as being a personal supporter of Apple, having bought 15 Macs for his family since their inception. Scott2
