<We've been having some debate about your claim that Microsoft is producing Internet (or is it "all") software products at 2:1 ratio over Netscape. "It doesn't take an engineer to know it." Remember?>
To begin with Bill, I was trying to be as fair as possible, which you are not. I listed only those products that I new existed, not that I just heard of or saw a staged demonstration of. Let's begin by eliminating those prodicts that are not availalbe right now (Composer, messenger, Collaborator, etc.) or we will have to go back to the MSFT sight and have a ball.
Next, why are you counting products more than once. I think you are aware that I am listing products and not platforms. Even if that were the case, then we will have to multiply (almost) each MSFT product by the amount of platforms that NT supports, won't we? Simply including the Backoffice family of products with the wide array of addiotional servers such as the Normandy suite, Index, Proxy, etc. etc .would nearly catch up to the offering that you listed. Now add those to the list that I metioned earlier........ To be absolutely honest I tire of this game. Although I am not inthe least bit incorrect in my assertion, if you want to continue this, lets do it by email. |
