Maybe the way to strike back is to liquidate the company and pass all onto the shareholders (no debt, all that cash, all those high priced assets)? The worst result of all this would be to have a court-appointed judge overseeing MSFT's operation as in past monoply rulings: Gates would probably liquidate before this. dave colby
