"Can any of the products, from AMD or Intel, make a video look like a real film shot on celluloid?" The only viable means to provide such a video quality "NOW" is DVD. Check out Encore from CREAF which is about $250+ shipping. The MPEG-2 decoder chip on board is said to come from CUBE. High end CPU and software will be able to do the job but at a much higher cost.
