fwiw, i just upgraded browser versions from communicator 4.5 to 4.51. the installation was fast and flawless, via smartupdate. i'd put off installing 4.51 for awhile because my current version is running so well. but i decided that the benefits of the security patches and bug fixes justified doing it now. i'm not implying that 4.51 is super new, either. it's been available for at least a month. but as many of you already know, sometimes it's a good idea to not rush in when software first makes its debut. here's where you can read more about the major security hole that 4.51 fixes. it has to do with "frame-spoofing".

you can always check for this sort of info by clicking your netscape browser 'help', then 'release notes'. clicking 'help', 'software updates' will point you at the download site.
btw, if you go to download via smartupdate, be aware that netscape installs immediately after it downloads. i usually download, then run a virus scan, then shut down all other apps prior to opening the file and installing it. but i didn't have a chance with 4.51. it just downloaded and installed in one click. i didn't like it, but it turned out okay.
