They [CISCO] certainly can say anything they want - who ever questions them, the ANALysts?
Sector,
I'm just reporting what CSCO said, not commenting on the veracity or the applicable time-frame. Unfortunately, people sometimes believe and even act upon what is said by the management of such billion dollar companies. (Which is why, I guess, we need so many lawyers to pursue so many class actions against these miscreants.)
The dial access numbers in Q3 are soft, granted - but let's wait a bit to see if Q4 and Q1 rebound.
While we wait, I think it is worth remembering the guidance, from ASND mgmt, towards low single digit revenue growth in Q1. If that is true, then it would seem that multi-point daily jumps will not be a matter of course for the time being. (Then, again, we are talking about the mgmt of a billion dollar company, which presumably invokes the veracity issues identified in the first part of this response, so go ahead and bring on the lawyers!)
