My sister-in-law lives in Jackson. I go there for a week in March every year...this year it's twice...four days of skiing in January and a week in March. By the Rendezvous area do you mean the bowl? In the past that's only been accessible from the tram. I never wanted to wait in line so I've only been up there a couple of times...when I was with an instructor. One year my son (I think he was 14 at the time) decided to try Corbet's Couloir. I couldn't see him, but I heard him and his skis separately sliding down for 50 yards. This year when they took down the tram they added a chairlift to get up there. I'm not going to go up there much anyway since I'm not an expert. If you mean the area fed by Rendezvous Trail, there's a lot of great skiing there. In fact, the whole place is great, but it's not a mountain for beginners. It's almost all intermediate and advanced terrain.
