I just pm'd klp with this - there's a Bill Millan in Kaiser Permanente Hospital - or so the switchboard says - 808-432-0000. No one answered when they tried to ring me through.

Good sleuthig, Brumar! When the phone rang I tought it was the one for the next bed. What happened?

CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE!

Sounds horrible, doesn't it? That's what I came down with. My Afib had combined with an "over 100" pulse and made my stiff heart unable to pump enough blood. So I was filling my lungs with liquid and building up liquid in my legs, etc. The stiff heart was due to going to bed drunk every night from 1960 to 1994. This had little or nothing to due with my coronary heart disease, which has been my prime target of the TYP treatment I discuss at my other thread.

I was feeling tired and unable to sleep due to shortness of breath, caused by liquid in my lungs. I finally caught a taxi over to the Kaiser ER Friday night, and they took very good care of me. Got out last afternoon. They put me on a heavy dose of Furosimide, a water expelling drug, and it cleaned over eight pounds of water out of me over the last three days, about one gallon. . I have the problem licked and will add the drugs, tests and precautions for it to my normal regime.

I will discuss it in more detail later on my Medical thread.
