I dont think we will hit new highs. This market looks like the March 1937 top and finally mega rally up to almost new highs (within 3% or so) The Mclellan summation index also shot straight up in that finally rally, just like the mclellan summation is shooting up now.

In addition we have a potential triple bearish divergence developing now in the DJIA since we are only about 4% from new all time highs.

Notice how quickly in 1937 the euphoric almost vertical up rally was reversed and retraced all the gains.

I think a Fed meeting no rate cut could be a catalyst for the decline.
