As I said you are using the term poorly. The 1a meaning has an adverse implication.

To me by definition all prejudice is founded on ignorance.

An adverse judgment or opinion formed beforehand or without knowledge or examination of the facts.

One can be ignorant of the facts or what the facts really mean if anything. Are they a complete set of facts. Are they correct and are the represented correctly. Does anyone really know the possible thousands of other facts the mitigate and define what the fact mean if anything.

And facts can be all kinds of stuff.

Having a preconceived an idea after examining the facts is not a prejudice. That to me is having the wisdom of experience.
