JULY 3nd DAILY ACTIVITY and OVERALL PERFORMANCE

Covered 1/4 position VLTS at 5.26 +.89

Nice profitable day and another gap to new all time highs.
CKCM, IDN, ALOY, HLEX and DTHK were the only losers for me today.(all relatively small)
Very little activity today, as I am waiting to cover some of my existing shorts.

Btw, notice the non-volatility of my account, slow and steady growth. (EXCEPT FRIDAY and MONDAY!!!)
Remember this, portfolio preservation should the #1 goal of every investor.
Risk and money management can never be stressed enough.

Profit of $21,914 or 1.13% for the day.
Profit of $126,037 or 6.87% for the week.
Profit of $126,037 or 6.87% for the month of July.

Overall Performance since April 28, 2001:

Potfolio value is $1,961,563
Portfolio profit is +$461,563 or +30.77%

Approximately 1,229K shorts and 83K longs, 94% vs 6% to the short side.
Portfolio is 67% invested of cash.

Total realized gains since April 28, 2001 are $481,451.

In 46 trading days since inception I am averaging a gain of 0.67% per trading day. (annualized thats 167%)
33 out of 46 profitable trading days.

The link above mirrors my personal portfolio exactly.
On April 28, 2001 the portfolio was valued at 1.5 million
A full position represents 6% of portfolio or $100,000
At the end of each month, I dollar cost average 1/2 my profits into value mutual funds.
The portfolio is managed like a hedge fund. (a mix of value longs and overextended, overvalued shorts)
I try to limit my losses to 8-10% maximum and most of the time much smaller, based on a full position.
Long-term pos shorts I am significantly more lenient towards losses. (proper allocation is a must on these)

Many Happy Returns
