Harvey Allen:

Interesting chart to be sure...Next range to penetrate is $30 to $34...I'd guess next week, assuming stable general market indices (Nas, DOW, SOXX), where consodlidation in $30 to $34 range for a period may well occur...In any event, the pull from $40 to $48.50 range continues to be the dominating influence on AMD price (like a magnet) ...Upward bias firmly in place...How long before testing all-time high of $48.50??? Anybody's guess, to be sure, but the ascent to $48.50 is now inexorable given AMD's proven world leading technology last week...Once again, assuming markets have stabilized, my guess is that a $48.50 test will occur, sooner than later, now that the "big-boys" have twigged to the notion that AMD is for real as a world leader in microprocessor and flash technology and now that the "big boys" realize that AMD's comparative growth potential and eps potential for Y2001 can readily support a price 3 times that of INTC!!! My guess is that AMD will establish a new all-time above $48.50 in Y2001, maybe even in Q2!!! (After all, there is no earthly reason, based upon AMDfundamentals, why AMD should currently be 1 penny under $40!!!)
