Skipper-- Actually that's not a bad idea. As I imagine you know (though I can't recall having seen you over there recently), after a ton of complaints from SITM people about the frivolous quality of the USRX thread Paul Blakeslee started his own. "USRX/COMS--and other stuff". In his premise he said explicitly that irrelevance was welcome; now when someone complains about lack of seriousness (or, occasionally, lapses of taste) we can simply direct them to the top of the page. Those who want only the news are referred to the main USRX thread. Which by now has become so dull I don't follow it anymore. SI management apparently thinks this is okay. Janice
