Well here's an interesting question for someone to help me decipher (if you dare.. :0)

I defragged my HDD the other day, as well as performing the latest Win2K updates.

Now, either before, or after I did the updates, and AFTER I defragged the HDD, suddenly my browser translates all of the HTML coding on SI (and a couple of other sites) as italics. This primarily happens with SI, and it negates my own attempts at tagging for bold or Italics, and all the text appears in Italics. But not every website delivers this result.. But definitely SI. And it's not SI since I've logged into my account at work and it's fine.

Now IE6.0 permits you to choose the font size and style, but it does not grant you the option to make text all be bolded or italicized..

Thus, my quandary lies in trying to figure out why my browser is doing this, and how to fix it back to regular type.

Thanks for any assistance y'all can provide. (and a pox on MSFT for all of it's "undocumented features".)
