What's the latin here? "In gustibus nondisputandum est" No accounting for taste.

I guess this makes sense. Tastes can be explained if there's the need, but they never need to be justified. This is a good example of where explanation and justification diverge.

My concern is that moral decisions require justification -- argument -- reasoning.

Feelings too, whatever they are -- some form of belief? sometimes need justification. I could be pissed at you because I believe you lied to me. When I later discover that you didn't, I also discover that my anger turns out to be unjustified.
