You can't tell me a veteran gets the same health care as a senator and they both get government health care so I can't see government as the answer either.

Incorrect. The fact that they are both paid for by our taxes does not by itself mean they are both "government health care." The VA's budget is determined by Congress. If the system providing for senators was under the same constraints, it would be leaner as well. And, if you apply that argument to public sector health care, you could apply it equally to the private sector and come to the same conclusion. In the private sector, some people get great care and 40 million don't have health insurance at all. What's so great about that?
