Hi TT; hand in hand with this has to be a bet on CLNTF,
biz.yahoo.com
I don't want one with out the other.
Now if your realy keyed up on NXTL look at her calls, the leaps

The JAN99 17.50 or 20.00 will let you leverage out real good,
lets say the 17.50 @ 4-3/4 thats 18+ months, at 27% or 18%
per year..however ...for each 100 shares I'm only 27% as much
at risk if by some chance she get trashed by sprint..
yep I like the 99 leaps, and that leaves me some for the other
bet..clntf..she don't have leaps, and the Nov calls are a little
close..but I'l think about it.
BTW if you go the leaps, and she grows like a weed, and starts
doing the up/down dance like AOL..you can after they come into
the profit zone..(1) lock in profits by short selling aginst them.
(2) If your right on her down dips you buy back ( cover ) cheaper.
(3) If your wrong you still have your rear covered, and what ever
profit you sold at above you cost + strike price.
--------------------------------
I'm most sure some one holding 98 calls on AOL is doing most of the shorting. They likley bought them last NOV..
I like the calls better than I do the stock..18% interest on the
leverage is not to bad if this is as hot as you think it is.
But I will stick with the year 99 percentage wise thats the best
bargin.Jan 98's are 2-3/4 that about 15% for just 6+ months, or
30% per year..no jan99 for me now I got to make up my mind on a
strike price and the size of the bet, but for me it also means
holding enough for a bet on the other one..she has just as good
a chance of going up without having to make as much money
as she has less shares out.., and I think she has a damm lot better
lock on Canada, than NXTL does on the US.
Jim
