Regarding BTRN:
You're very knowledgeable about this stock so I wanted to get your take on it here. I can contribute the following: every day for the past 2 weeks, there has been a large buyer in the market for BTRN looking to buy a block of at least 100,000 shares and most likely more...I have access to Autex, which is the system on which market makers display buy/sell interest in the stocks they trade. The buyer is working through MASH (Mayer and Schweitzer), who has been consistently moving up his bid for the past few days. Nothing for sale in the stock, however. Having watched buy indications for 100,000 for the past few days, I took a position today at $6. I would expect a major breakout in this stock within the next week or two....if any volume starts to trade, the buyers will take the stock up fast. Aggressive money players are starting to focus on the biotechs.....witness MLNM, HGSI, VPHM, VICL...with the tiny float on BTRN, any attention at all could send this stock to the moon. With the large institutional buyer putting a floor under the stock here, the risk/reward is terrific. From a fundamental point of view, what's your take? |
