If UCLA authorities, the NCAA authorities and the UCLA players/coaches think that sitting 3 players allegedly involved in the shoplifting incident in China is going to "cut it" either here or in China, they can think again as far as I'm concerned. Those players have embarrassed our country to the nth degree, and nothing short of total expulsion from NCAA athletics would be satisfactory in my eyes. And China should give them a taste of life in a Chinese prison as well... Tough stance on my part? Yes... But we must realize that these kids are privileged and a severe lesson needs to be taught here, both to the students involved and future students who might think it "cool" to try something similar themselves... As Barney Fife once said, "Nip it in the bud! Nip it! Nip it! Nip it!"...

I tired of hearing about privileged kids (in general) deserve a break here, or how this is a "cultural thing" and would be overlooked in the players' home communities... Or (my personal favorite), "ain't no big deal"...
