OT: I think the short side is going to be the right side for a while longer. The SOX rolled over today and finished well below the 50 day SMA now at 308:

Despite the good news from ORCL after the close tonight I don't think any rally that is going to take place short term that will change the overall downward momentum. So while tomorrow may actually be a good day because we are short term oversold it cannot in my estimation change the trend.

Earnings good and bad will only serve to shorten or lengthen the amount of time it takes for us to see the RSI on the SOX back at 30 or below. In conjunction with this look for other indicators to confirm a bottom like those found in this post by Vesselin:

Long way to go down yet. Short the rallies? I think so too. You may want to wait before adding anything at all long.
