I would agree that Jon Tara has a legit complaint, I too would like an explaination from Datek as to why something like that happened.

As for your post you are right, most Datek customers are completely satisfied with Datek service, myself basically included in that group. I get far more orders in the spread than I do orders that I consider a problem (very few). If one reads this thread back for months there are only six or eight people complaining, Some of which after they found out what marketable means quit complaining.

Legit problems like JT reported today need resolution, and I would guess it was a bug in the software, it might be that it started to transact a 32 share odd lot was either beaten too it or maybe it was cancelled just ahead of the order and then in the mean time the computer had split 32 shares off of the order, would be a rare occurance but could possibly be the reason for it.

Again thanks for a post that says it like it really is.
