I think it is our manifest destiny as it is how the universe works. Some smart biology makes it through the human singularity and some don't. I don't think we will make it. Too much ignorance overwhelming our institutions and a lot of bad luck e.g losing our moral and intellectual mentors JFK, MLK and Bobby K. They might have been able to lead us in a different direction. But I am noticing in the cinema that the millennials are producing much more sophisticated and humanistic movies in just the last few years, worldwide? It is a race between the barbarians and the humanists.
