"Bender: "We're always looking for opportunities to increase shareholder value, but beyond that we'can't comment."
[Bender didn't say they have/don't have a poison pill. I would therefore assume that if a takeover/buyout price is attractive so as to "enhance shareholder value", they would be amenable - anybody else have an interpretation??]"

Even if a so called poison pill should be available...it's use could have an undesirable effect...not only for AWRE, but also for AWRE's technology as well. Bender has mentioned the fact that finding capable employees in the tech market is extremely difficult. Making deals and flowing money in the front door...doesn't translate automatically into marketable product shipping out the back.

IMO...the natural evolution of the AWRE technology may only be realized through a merger/buyout. To properly exploit the benefits of the AWRE technology requires resources, which, are unavailable to AWRE in any other fashion...absolutely not possible on their own if they seek it's maximum potential.

The vision this type of possibility could occur is hinted at in the original deal AWRE had with ADI...

"Scrapps, I was referring to Dougjn, just I was reading your message when I decided to post. "

I know...just pokin fun. :o)
